Each order includes a roll of flexible silicone scar tape that can be cut to fit the size and shape of your scar. Each ScarSilk™ roll measures 4 cm wide × 120 cm long and can be cut to fit the size and shape of your scar.
For best comfort, start with shorter wear periods and gradually increase as your skin adjusts. Follow the usage instructions included with your ScarSilk™ tape and discontinue use if irritation occurs.
We recommend removing the tape before showering unless the product instructions specifically state that it is water-resistant. Make sure your skin is completely clean and dry before applying a fresh piece.
For hygiene and best adhesion, we recommend using a fresh piece when the tape becomes dirty, loses its stickiness, or no longer stays securely in place.
ScarSilk™ should only be applied once the incision has fully closed and the skin has healed. Do not apply silicone tape to open wounds, broken skin, or areas that are still healing. If you recently had surgery, follow your healthcare provider’s instructions before beginning scar care.
